The city I live in doesn't see much from the music world. We do have a lot of local talent that starts here and then moves on to make it big and then they forget where they came from. I love to support local musicians whether they are from my city or from the great state of Texas. So it was a must that I go to an acoustic performance by Justin Furstenfeld. The lead singer of Blue October. A band from Houston Texas that formed in 1995. (And 1995 was a very good year for me.) And over the years I have fallen in love with their style of music. So after last night I know a little more about the man behind the music. The reason they disappeared from the music scene for a while and why he does what he does. It was a good show. Its now in my top 5 of favorite concerts I have attended. It gives me a greater appreciation for their music and a better understanding of the lyrics. My sister and I went and enjoyed laughing and listening to such talent. I will never forget a lot of what he sai
