Graduating the 5th grade

Jill is officially a graduate of elementary school. She will be putting the recess behind her and adding alot more classes to her day next year.   The president of the community college handed out the gifts to the students. Jill, when you came into our home you were in the middle of your 3rd grade year. Now here we are gearing up for middle school. You have come such a long way. Mentally, physically and emotionally. We both are very proud of you and all that you have accomplished. You will go far! We love you tons!!

Soccer Mom

I am officially a side liner for a soccer team. Jessie started soccer last week and that will consume an hour and 15 min every Saturday and Sunday until the end of June.   This was her first game and they won 2-1! she was stoked. Here she is observing from the sidelines.... ...but way out there she is the one in the middle of all the action! Shes a good team player and can be really aggressive!

Food Networks Great Food Truck Race

In the attempt to pretend i live in a trendy city, this was a really neat experience to see. I don't watch this particular show on the FN channel, but my little sister does and we both love to eat. so we hauled butt up to the ballpark parking lot and watched them film a show.   They had about 7 trucks ( i think ) lined up and ready to take our orders. This was the chicken and waffle truck. We both had already eaten dinner so we went to the Italian Jersey girls truck and got some cinnamon and sugar donuts :)   We had a baseball game going on that night and I love that they were showing their support. We will definitely set the DVR to record this episode. As I might get to see a side profile of us standing in line or the back sides of us walking to another truck. Either way...being on TV is huge!! The goodness of cinnamon and sugar on fried dough. Jennifer thank you for liking this show. I like that we were able to jump in the car camera in hand and experience this.
