Hey!! I thought this was your dog!

....cause shes lovin on your momma..... ....cause shes laying in my lap..... ....and lovin on your daddy! Am i mistaken that shes your dog, son?? HAPPY SUNDAY! :)

As if i needed more time in front of the computer...

As long as this computer is on....I feel like i should be on Pintrest. Its an addicting behavior. i have however gathered alot of ideas off of this site, but this...this is why i feel house work and children are being neglected! haha!

Sisterly Love.

It goes without saying that these 2 have loved each other since the day they met. Jaxon and Jessie just "get" each other. She bonded with him immediately upon his arrival into this world and not only are they (technically half) brother and sister, they are also best friends. And that is something I hope continues on thru their life. Because everyone needs a sibling that you can count on. He had no idea she was attempting the ever so famous bunny ear move. I have this photo framed and on my dresser. It puts a smile on my face everyday. It seems just like yesterday she was holding him for the first time. She would hold his bottle for him when it was time for a feeding. She was the master at getting him to crack up laughing at such an early age with her goofy faces and funny noises. She has always been so gentle and caring with him. To that i am grateful for her caring heart . I met Jessie when she was 2. I cant believe she will be 7 in less than a month! And while she has a s

And i thought i was bad.....

Every month i am anxious to get my Food Network magazine in. And so is Jaxon!! He reads it before i do and tells me what he thinks looks "yum". It is a learning tool as well. He has learned about alot of different foods this way. But once he is thru reading it, then its my turn! :)

A girl after my own heart

5th grade for Jill, this year, has brought alot of new adventures her way. Harder math. Having 4 teachers. Making new friends. Being a part of the student council. And learning to play the violin. I played in the 5th grade and wish it was something that i would have never put down. Even if i didn't make a career out of playing, i just wish i still knew how to play. Her enthusiasm for such a beautiful instrument has inspired me to dust mine off...restring it and have her reteach me a thing or two this year. I am glad that this is something she wanted to do on her own and is showing so much joy in learning something new. I hope she never puts it down.

What happens when i potty!

2 minutes. is all i ask for at times. not all the time. i am not even sure where he found the pen to do this in such a short amount of time. it came off the TV. i wasn't mad about he art on the screen just blown away that he did all that in about 2 minutes!

Smartphone huh?

So in the days of all this wonderful technology, smart phones these days do NOT take a lickn and keep on tickn like the Timex! It took a fall that wasn't really that bad....but it cracked the screen internally and we were out of commission for 4 days! lets just say i am more careful in treating the phone more like a baby than a gadget!

Fair weather, Goats, and cheese on a stick!

The petting zoo is by far the best way Jaxon can be hands on. Its only once a year, but we make the most of it when the time rolls around. We made an afternoon of it! Here we are watching a cow eat. She would turn and look at Jaxon from time to time. To make sure he wasn't stealing her hay! :) GOATS !! He couldn't wait for this part. He wants a goat. BAD! But if i can get away with spending $4.00 a year on feed then i will. He can get a goat when he has his own backyard. Or petting zoo. Which ever comes first. 'See mom....more food for my goats!' But what i truly love about this picture....look close...hes holding the goats ear....it didn't mind.... Then we swapped the feed for some carrots. Goats love carrots and the little boy that was feeding them ever so gently and making sure everyone got a carrot. Feeding goats and watching cows eat and petting rabbits and watching cowboys ride horses, can make ya hungry! He can have his petting zoo as long as his aunt

A great kickoff to all things October!

Fun at the pumpkin patch on a breezy Saturday. we walked around. snapped a few pictures. picked out some pumpkins to take home and paint. Jillian has an artist deep in her.....i am trying my hardest to just help her get it to flow. Jaxon on the other hand is all about taking charge and expressing him. this was his first time with a paint brush and paint. he did very well might i add. loved using all the colors. washing the brush off in the water to change the paint. he kept it on the pumpkin and didn't try to repaint the walls. i was happy about that. but then again if your inner artist is crying to paint walls.....paint the dang walls. we had fun. me and the kids and the ideas that we came up with. finished products. more to come.....daddy and Jessie were a weekend behind on getting their pumpkins painted....so we have a porch full of painted pumpkins. that makes this mommas heart as happy as a painted pumpkin!
