You've come along way baby

You were born early. Not early in the day, but 4 weeks early. I had to be induced. Daddy got to see you first. I held you in my arms for the first time when you were 3 days old and since then I havent let you go. You are my world. I never knew I would love someone like I love you. 1 year ago I kissed you for the first time. 1 year ago I felt I different kind of love. 1 year ago you...became my world. I love you son.

Happy Turkey Day~

Some of the family sitting and enjoying dinner. Jaxons first Thanksgiving. I was induced last year on Thanksgiving night. I enjoyed this one alot better! This is why I feel lazy today! And I am still going to eat leftovers today!! Me and my little sister Jennifer. She means alot to me and I dont think I ever tell her that. Jaxon Jessie Josh and I. Thanksgivining 2009. Hope everyone had a blessed day and is thankful for everything around them.

The cold morning

Monday morning it was freezing outside. The high that day was only going to be 39 degrees. So we stayed home! And I learned some things that morning... ..I learned that no matter how busy you are or what you have to do, Sesame Street is more important. I learned that its OK to sit in the floor and watch some TV. I learned that c o lo r f u l goofy Muppet's make my son laugh. ...I learned that there was nothing in that hour that could have distracted him. I learned that song over and over again and sang it to him all day that day. I learned that he loves Elmo and is trying to say Elmo. Nothing warmed my heart more that cold morning than to watch him in that short time doing this. He loved the time as well. As soon as his show was over he walked over to me, hugged me, kissed my forehead and fell asleep. I learned that I was doing a good job in raising him so far. I learned that no matter what the day looks like for me, how cold it is outside, or how stressed out I may be....I lear

Joys of Motherhood 4

The battle between the bottle and sippy cup. He refuses to drink milk and formula in the sippy cup at home, but does it at his sitters. He will drink juice just fine in it but I guess knows that even his milk and formula go in a bottle. It's just that I'm trying to wean the bottle to just be strictly a night time thing and the sippy cup for anything else. So I guess I should really say it's a battle for me and Jaxon. He knows I will cave and pour anything from his sippy cup in a bottle.

Well...baby is walking now...

The other night Jaxon and I walked and walked around the living room..O about 25+ times. The next day he pulled himself up and took 15 unassisted steps himself! He wants to walk every where now. This is us "dancing". We turned around a lot that night i was pretty dizzy!! But hes walking. Before his first birthday even. He will have better balance and be better at it by then though. Had to throw this in here. I see music lessons in his near future . He loves to play the guitar!!

The Diva

She starts her day enjoying good french toast sticks and a good laugh.... ...then she is treated to a pedicure.... ...soaking it all in. Enjoying the royal treatment... Beautiful polished toes...that can only belong to a princess.....

Doesn't every kid do this at one time??

So this is the dog crate. Jaxon has learned to open it. Jaxon wants to be inside of it. The thing is,well the *only* good thing is, is that he cant lock it back once he's in it. But he thinks it's funny...I really don't...I mean the dog only sleeps in there. And we have to keep him in there when we have company because he likes to jump on people and lick and then gets overly excited and pees everywhere. I hope these photos don't ever come to bite me in the a**, but it is funny. It's not coached at all. Jaxon explored and we let him until he almost started to eat the dog food. Then the dog realized what he was doing and wanted to make sure his food was not to be touched. Jaxon gets out and lets Jynx in. All was fine. No children or animals were harmed. Neither of them even knew I was snapping pictures. Josh says you need to make sure he stays out of there. I said well I cant always have my eyes on him. We both were in the living room when Jaxon climbed in.....but we

Halloween 2009

This is Harold. He is a cartoon on HBO Family called Harold and the Purple Crayon. It's based of a book series from the late 60's. Very cute show. Really geared towards preschool age kids but when Jaxon was about 3 months old I wanted him to be Harold this year..... ...and here he is. Harold and the Purple Crayon. Comin at ya live!! These were the only trick or treaters we had (well we had 2 others earlier in the evening) and if you are thinking I take pictures of all the trick or treaters that come to our door you are wrong. Only the ones that are related! Jaxons big sister Jessie her older sister Cady and Jaxons cousins Erik Jakob and Kellie all came by to visit......It was a good first Halloween for Harold. He got a little bit of candy. A bag of mini oreos from his aunt Jennifer and then whatever Jessie found in her bag to share!
