The only way to be..

Relaxed while watching your favorite show. Happy that you are spending the day with mom. (and your 4ft monkey!) Free that you don't always have to wear pants.

LOOK! LISTEN!

He looks so big sitting on this little truck. The little truck that plays the most annoying music in the house. I am a weird mom! I refuse to remove any batteries from any toy that we buy him or that he receives as a gift. They are musical and educational and he loves to dance to the songs. So I will not take that from him....but its still annoying nonetheless.... Anyway...I am so proud of how fast he learns to do everything and that he is as independent as his little self can be. He loves to listen to the 2 songs on this little truck. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Do You Know the Muffin Man are constantly playing. He is a big boy now. He isn't my little baby bundled up anymore......

They melt in your mouth not in your hands...

He brings a whole new meaning to the M&Ms slogan...because they do melt in his hands... Actually they melt everywhere. On my arms. On my shoulders. On the furniture. On the cat. HMMM....you say I'm messy? It's the M&Ms that are messy MOM!!

Its OK for now...

It's OK that he brushes his teeth in the bathtub...(for now). He LOVES brushing his teeth. I help get him started..... ...and make sure all 6 teeth are being brushed and then he will finish. End result...there is a battle between him and I every.single.time.I.take.the.toothbrush. Just when bath time was starting to get fun again!!...

I have a booger....

...that I cant get to right now...maybe if i dig deeper... ...its in there somewhere... ...but I am a boy and i think its hilarious to pick my nose... ... and then act as if I am shy about it...Never had an end result but me and mom had a good laugh! I'm glad she thinks I am cute...even when I have a booger!

Before I was a MOM

I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry about child proofing my house. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a MOM. I had never been puked on, pooped on, chewed on, peed on. I had complete control of my mind and thoughts. I slept all night. Before I was a MOM. I had never held a screaming child so the doctor could do test or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night to watch a sleeping baby. Before I was a MOM. I never held a sleeping baby because I didn't want to put him down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces because I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a MOM. Before I was a MOM. I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to fe

There is this HUGE indoor playground here in town. Perfect for cold days when the kids are getting stir crazy and need to burn off energy. Jaxon loved this little playhouse. He is looking thru the little window here. He can open the door and walk in himself. Such a big boy!! With help getting on the slide...he slide down all by himself. TAADAA!
