Since he could talk he has had a certain Independence about him. "I do it". I loved it when his little voice would say those words. Even though he sometimes had no clue what he was doing. Or he wanted to lend a helping hand with me, I have always admired that he was a hands on learner . Now that he is 4 he really doesn't need much help getting dressed. I still stay present just in case he needs my help. "I do it all by myself" are the words he says now. It makes me a little sad that he doesn't need me for everything now. "I'm hungry" are words I hear alot from him. So I tell him find something to eat and I will help you make it. I let him put the snack ideas together. He can open the fridge. He can open the pantry. So this is the dog crate. Jaxon has learned to open it. Jaxon wants to be inside of it. The thing is,well the *only* good thing is, is that he cant lock it back once he's in it. But he thinks it's funny...I really don't...I mean the dog only sleeps in there. And we have to keep him in there when we have company because he likes to jump on people and lick and then gets overly excited and pees everywhere.
I hope these photos don't ever come to bite me in the a**, but it is funny. It's not coached at all. Jaxon explored and we let him until he almost started to eat the dog food. Then the dog realized what he was doing and wanted to make sure his food was not to be touched.
Jaxon gets out and lets Jynx in. All was fine. No children or animals were harmed. Neither of them even knew I was snapping pictures. Josh says you need to make sure he stays out of there. I said well I cant always have my eyes on him. We both were in the living room when Jaxon climbed in.....but we watched for a minute...hahahaa
Then daddy put a lock on it for when Jaxon is playing around. Jaxon was upset. He did proceed to get the keys and take them over to the crate just never tried to unlock it with a key. That will happen next week when he's thirsty and wants Jynx to share his water! O.....boys!
