OMG!!! It's 19degrees outside!! 19!!!!!! Thankfully there isn't any wind...not like I'm going to spend anytime outdoors anyway!!......grab some hot cocoa....a blanket...a book...(or the remote if no good book is near by)...and stay in...ALL DAY!!
Oreos!!! I LOVE them!....with milk, without milk, crushed up in my vanilla ice cream. I LOVE them!! Well....then i had to try these! They don't have a "hit you in the face" banana taste....but do taste as if you are eating a bite of Oreo with a bite of banana.....and yes they are still good dipped in your milk....they are good by them selves and I am sure will be just as yummy crushed into some vanilla ice cream!! They are only here for a short time...so go getcha some!!!
This concert was by far the best I have ever seen.....now mind you i have never traveled afar to see bands, but try to catch the ones that come to town. The house was packed, the crowd was fun and most importantly the music and band was AWESOME !!!! there are so many cool pics to choose from...this is one of my favorites!!
To set your clocks back!! Although you may be a little "off", you gain an hour of sleep.... which I LOVE !!! I like afternoon naps anyway and I highly suggest if they aren't on your daily to do lists to start adding them this week. Really the only time I can take an afternoon nap is on Saturdays and Sundays....which is fine with me. I go to bed as early as an 80 year old does during the week anyway!!! So grab your note-pad, a pen...write down afternoon nap somewhere between 1pm and 4pm.....then grab your favorite pillow and a blanket and enjoy!! No matter your age....you will thank me!!
She's a cat .... yes I know!! Every time we leave no matter the time of day she will sit and look at us with the saddest eyes and wave goodbye...the funny thing is is that she will always be in the window upon our arrival....shes on our clock...most cats are in their own time zone!! When we walk up she looks happy again and starts to paw at the window greeting us.....its cute...i had to share.....and with that.....good night!!!
Another sure sign its fall.....Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks...I hardly ever get a beverage from here but maybe twice a year....when summer turns to fall i indulge in the pumpkin spice and when winter turns to spring i indulge in a pomegranate green tea...so yum!!! i read recently that when Starbucks "turns red" everyone starts decorating for Christmas..... so be looking for the red cups November 28!!!! (which is naturally the day after Thanksgiving!) but if you have been to the local hobby/craft store, Christmas was out right after school started!!!! Grab a cup....add some whip cream or that extra boost of "get you going" as i like to call it a.k.a. espresso shots....and enjoy!!!!
its been a weird week.....full of not so great news......my older sister got laid off of her job...i had to have some blood work done for something abnormal.....(havent heard from them so no news is good news) my uncle was in a motorcycle wreck and is in a hopital thats not in his home town...work is more and more stressful as the days go on.....i have piles of boxes i still havent unpacked and we moved in to this house in July!!.....my car needs to go back into the shop for some unexplained squeak it has when driving.....i need to try to get into a newer car....my grandpas cancer wont go away....i want a much needed vacation before the baby gets here...but i cant travel very far....im cooking my first turkey this year for thanksgiving.....im still trying to press for working part time after the baby arrives....wish me luck there!!.....this turned into more of a vent blog....i feel better.....
