The night at the Amusement Park...

We have an amusement park in the town we live in...and whereas its not much to write home about...the kiddos have fun! Jessie loves this ride shes on...and she made some "BFF's" in the process....no matter where she goes...she always makes a friend!
Josh, my nephew Z and I getting ready for a roller coaster. He was being goofy!
Jessie felt bad for Jaxon. She said.."Its not fair the only thing he can ride in is his stroller, I want to take him on a ride!" Well here she is next to his ride!
Josh and Z went off to do there own thing so me and Jessie went and did ours..they have a water ride that leaves you soaked plus you can stand on the bridge and get even more wet. Rode the ride once...stood on the bridge 3 times....I still have water in my ears!!

The night was a blast and the park will soon close until school is out for next summer!!

I do it

  Since he could talk he has had a certain Independence about him. "I do it". I loved it when his little voice would say those words. Even though he sometimes had no clue what he was doing. Or he wanted to lend a helping hand with me, I have always admired that he was a hands on learner .     Now that he is 4 he really doesn't need much help getting dressed. I still stay present just in case he needs my help. "I do it all by myself" are the words he says now. It makes me a little sad that he doesn't need me for everything now.     "I'm hungry" are words I hear alot from him. So I tell him find something to eat and I will help you make it. The weekend to-do list that i actually did....

* Played with Jaxon until I was worn out * Read one chapter in the book I need to finish * Took alot of pictures and a video of Jaxon...saying his first word!! Which was Da-Da....and he will crack up when we say......"say Mama"...I don't get it....I carried him for 8months....whats his deal? * Had a cook-out at my Grandmas * Painted my toe-nails * Watched yet another marathon of Jon and Kate Plus 8 Sunday...(while playing with Jaxon...it was really on for background noise) because Jessica the Hippo was actually boring!! * Called my little sister who is vacationing in New Hampshire and has been gone a week...only to find out she was at the OshKoshBaGosh Outlet Mall....whoo-hoo....Jaxon will have yet MORE clothes than me!!!!! * Helped.....errr...watched...(well I'm not going to even lie about this one).....Heard Josh digging up a tree trunk in the backyard. It sounded like alot of work though * And I enjoyed a REAL day off with Josh....we talked and caught u...
